We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Field Engineer to join our client's intralogistics team based in Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical installation, commissioning, and support activities of baggage handling or conveyor systems in a dynamic environment. Your expertise will ensure smooth project execution from installation through to live operation, working closely with site managers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include managing electrical wiring, power systems, grounding, and sensor systems, as well as supporting testing and compliance activities. Your technical skills will help maintain system availability and operational excellence during critical project phases and in live environments.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation within baggage handling systems, conveyor, or material handling industries.
- Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and test equipment.
- Experience with optical, inductive, and laser sensors, as well as electric, asynchronous, stepper, and brushless motors.
- Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out procedures and OSHA standards.
- Unrestricted Electrical Journeyman License or equivalent; Cross belt experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with adaptability to evolving technologies.
- Driver’s license required; travel may be expected.
