Our client is seeking a Permanent Field Service Engineer (South East) to join their leading Intralogistics company based in Guildford. The role involves providing comprehensive mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair services on conveyor systems and related machinery within logistics warehouses. As a home-based position, you'll travel to customer sites across the region, delivering preventative maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and ensuring optimal operational performance of various automated handling equipment. You will work closely with the service support team to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance engineering, with a strong background in conveyors and heavy machinery, and hold relevant electrical qualifications. - Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, particularly on conveyors and automated warehouse machinery
- HND/HNC, Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety standards, including risk assessments and method statements
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the South East region
- Excellent communication skills with customer-facing experience
- Proactive approach to preventive maintenance and problem solving
