We are seeking a WMS Test Engineer to join a dynamic team specialising in automated warehouse solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and integrating complex systems that support warehouse management within a client-facing environment. Your primary focus will be on developing comprehensive test strategies, executing acceptance testing, stress testing warehouse control systems, and ensuring seamless system functionality. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams—including electrical, mechanical, controls, and software engineers—is essential to verify that all components meet contractual and quality standards. You will also support client deployments through early life support, preparing test data, and participating in system design reviews while working adhering to safety and risk assessments.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automated warehouse systems.
- Proven track record in software testing, ideally within warehouse automation or similar fields.
- Knowledge of creating and managing test plans, scripts, and documentation.
- Experience with acceptance testing, system integration, and risk identification.
- Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience with fault logging tools such as JIRA or similar software.
- English fluency and full driving licence.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience working with automated warehouse systems, with optional qualifications such as a relevant technical degree or mechanical/electrical certificates.
