Role:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of robotics deployments for our German-speaking clients. This is a highly cross-functional role where you will work closely with Engineering, Sales, and Customer teams to ensure successful implementation of cutting-edge automation solutions.
You will join projects from the final stages of pre-sales through to deployment and post-go-live, taking full ownership of project execution and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the entire project lifecycle: pre-sales validation, planning, execution, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Manage 4–5 concurrent projects across multiple clients
- Validate scope, timelines, and feasibility
- Review contracts and ensure deliverability
- Lead the critical project initiation phase, ensuring a clear and achievable execution plan
- Engage directly with customers (primarily German-speaking)
- Conduct on-site assessments (layout, workflows, constraints)
- Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring customers are prepared for deployment and fully aligned
- Work closely with Software and Hardware Engineering Leads as a key counterpart
- Provide direction, challenge assumptions, and ensure alignment between technical design and customer requirements
- Contribute to solution validation, including evaluating whether proposed systems will perform as required
- Oversee on-site implementation and ensure smooth execution of deployments
- Coordinate readiness across teams, including installation, integration, and testing
- Manage risks, timelines, and deliverables throughout the deployment phase
- Define and oversee testing procedures, KPIs, and acceptance criteria
- Lead the transition to customer operations with full documentation and readiness
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager - end-to-end projects
- 5+ years of experience in intralogistics and/or robotics industry
- Technical background, Master’s degree or equivalent
- Fluent in German or C1 equivalent
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects at once, ensuring OTIF delivery
- Can-do attitude and ability to resolve blockers and potential risks
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
- Very good organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple projects
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customers’ warehouses in Europe
