Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Permanent Sales Manager to join their dynamic team based in the Southeast UK. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth within the vertical lift and automated storage retrieval systems (ASRS) sectors, including intralogistics, 3PL, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and providing tailored automation and materials handling solutions to clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in technical sales, ideally within the automation or intralogistics industries, and possess a comprehensive understanding of automated warehouses, racking systems, VLMs and related storage solutions.
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in automation or materials handling industries
- Solid understanding of vertical lift modules, ASRS, VLMs and automated warehouse solutions
- Experience selling into intralogistics, 3PL, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing sectors
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Drive to identify and secure new business opportunities
- Background in managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
This role offers an attractive salary package between £50,000 to £65,000, complemented by an excellent commission structure and a company car.
