    About the Role

    A rapidly expanding global automation and intralogistics business is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across the UK. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role where you’ll blend technical credibility with strong commercial instincts to win new business and deepen relationships with existing customers.

    You’ll work with advanced automation, vision, and warehouse system technologies — helping customers solve real operational challenges while supporting the company’s next phase of UK expansion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive new business across automation, intralogistics, vision systems, and engineered solutions.

    • Develop and grow existing customer accounts, increasing revenue and long‑term value.

    • Lead early‑stage technical discussions, understanding customer operations and translating needs into solutions.

    • Work closely with engineering, solution design, and project teams to shape compelling proposals.

    • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including site visits and solution presentations.

    • Build a strong, predictable pipeline and deliver accurate forecasting.

    • Represent the business at UK industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.

    • Provide market insight and customer feedback to support UK growth strategy.

    What You’ll Bring

    • Strong background in automation, vision systems, intralogistics, material handling, or industrial systems.

    • Proven success in technical sales, ideally selling engineered or automation‑led solutions.

    • Ability to simplify complex technology and communicate value to both technical and commercial stakeholders.

    • Experience managing a mix of new business and existing accounts.

    • Confident, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a growing organisation.

    • Strong relationship‑builder with credibility across operations, engineering, and leadership teams.
